Utah County Emergency Management - Customer Case Study

Utah County Emergency Management, part of the Utah County Sheriff’s Department, needed a cost-effective way to monitor multiple locations across a large county, including voting sites, special needs facilities, vaccine clinics, and crime hotspots. They also needed surveillance that could be moved quickly between sites and help supplement limited personnel, all while maintaining 24/7 coverage.

LVT addressed these needs by deploying two D3 Mobile Security Units and training the Emergency Management team and volunteers to move them as needed. With LVT’s solution, Utah County Emergency Management gained around-the-clock monitoring for major COVID-19 vaccine clinics, improved safety at special needs facilities, and better use of manpower across 2,000 square miles and 25 cities—filling a monitoring gap for significantly less than full-time human surveillance.
