Puyallup Nation Public Safety Division in Tacoma, Washington needed a better way to monitor remote tribal lands, increase situational awareness, deter theft and vandalism, and support security at events and other hard-to-serve locations. They turned to LVT and its D3 Mobile Security Units to provide mobile surveillance and a stronger security presence without relying on hardwired power or internet.
LVT deployed six D3 Mobile Security Units with 24/7 monitoring, active deterrence features like strobe and flood lights and two-way speakers, and desktop/mobile access to the LVT Platform. The result was stronger public safety and faster deterrence of unwanted activity, with the tribe reporting 24/7 security for only 9% of the cost of ten full-time guards.
