How Enel Green Energy supercharges its security efforts with LiveView Technologies

Enel, a global renewable energy company operating more than 115 remote sites across the United States and Canada, needed a way to secure solar, wind, hydroelectric, and other properties with only three security staff overseeing them. The company also needed real-time visibility into remote sites for operational purposes, plus protection against theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access without relying on hardwired power or internet connections. LVT provided the mobile security infrastructure Enel was looking for.

LVT deployed four D3 Mobile Security Units with 24/7 monitoring, strobe and flood lights, two-way speakers, and desktop/mobile access through the LVT Platform. The solution gave Enel live site visibility, helped track subcontractors and deliveries, improved response decisions for law enforcement, and protected thousands of acres and tens of millions of dollars in equipment and materials. According to Enel, the result was immediate: they have not had any thefts since the LVT units were deployed.
