The City of Camden, New Jersey faced a major illegal dumping problem across more than 50 sites, with two of the worst locations seeing 20–75 tons of dumping each year. To address the issue, Camden worked with LVT to improve monitoring, collect evidence for prosecutions, and add a stronger deterrent at problem areas.

LVT deployed two D3 Mobile Security Units at the city’s most severe dumping locations, equipped with strobe and flood lights, two-way speakers, infrared cameras, license plate recognition, and 24/7 monitoring. Since the units were placed, the city reported 0 illegal dumping at those sites, helping reduce cleanup costs and support Camden’s broader revitalization efforts.
