Vantage Power, an automotive and travel company, needed a way to give OEMs and fleet operators a real-time view of heavy-duty vehicles and their systems while meeting strict emissions regulations. To address this challenge, Luxoft worked with Vantage Power to build VPVision, a telemetry and IoT-based monitoring platform with predictive maintenance and machine learning capabilities.

Luxoft implemented VPVision using AWS IoT services, edge computing, analytics, and machine learning to collect, process, and visualize more than 6,000 data points per vehicle in real time. The solution helped reduce operational costs by over 80%, cut time-to-market by six months, extended battery life by around 10%, and helped avoid battery replacements that could cost over $50,000 per bus, while also supporting compliance with emissions requirements.
