Qumulo, the leader in universal-scale file storage, needed a website and custom content management system that could support its shift from appliance-based messaging to a software-centric brand spanning on-premises and cloud environments. To guide users through a friction-free learn-and-try buying journey and better support lead generation, Qumulo turned to Luxoft’s design and innovation arm, Smashing Ideas, for an end-to-end CMS website solution strategy and design.

Luxoft implemented an atomic design approach and built a rules-based design language system with a component-driven CMS, pattern library, and style guide that empowered Qumulo teams to create and publish content without a design team. The solution improved collaboration and scalability, automated asset delivery through a CDN to reduce hosting costs without hurting performance, and helped increase lead generation while differentiating Qumulo’s brand in a crowded market.
