Luxoft worked with a Healthcare Organization, specifically healthcare insurers, that needed to move beyond reactive care and respond to rising patient expectations for e-health. The challenge was to reduce claims, prevent health issues from escalating, and support proactive, personalized care while protecting patient privacy. Luxoft’s concept focused on a predictive healthcare approach using AI, IoT, and machine learning.

Luxoft implemented a proof-of-concept “Super Sensors” solution that combines data from home environments, wearables, mobile devices, weather, pollen counts, and medical histories to build a 360° health model and detect behavior changes early. The result is a privacy-conscious system that can predict health issues, support low-cost proactive care, improve patient health and longevity, and help insurers optimize costs and increase access to patient health data.
