Telco, a multinational technology company and global provider of unified communications and contact center solutions, wanted to bring its customers’ siloed phone systems into one centralized cloud platform. The company needed a scalable, highly available infrastructure that could support up to 10,000 independent end users per system, minimize local configuration, and simplify deployment across varied on-premises environments. Luxoft worked with Telco on a containerized cloud version of its PBX phone system product.

Luxoft implemented a Google Cloud-based, Kubernetes-enabled deployment solution with resource sharing, advanced cloud security, and streamlined administration and maintenance. The result was a communications platform that can scale from a few users to several thousand, support faster updates, and reduce operational overhead. Most notably, deployment time dropped from about 60 minutes to less than 60 seconds, delivering a 6000% improvement and helping Telco expand into more cost-sensitive customer segments.
