Laithwaites, the family-run wine merchant with over 50 years of experience, was facing high levels of fake touchpoints and click fraud on its branded PPC keywords. Working with partner Incubeta, the company looked for a way to spend more efficiently and protect paid campaigns from invalid traffic using Lunio.
Lunio monitored Laithwaites’ PPC traffic, identified branded keywords as the main source of fraudulent clicks, and was then used in a 50:50 A/B test to block invalid traffic on the test campaign. The results showed a 5% increase in conversion rate, a 6% uplift in sales, a 7% increase in revenue, and a 6% improvement in ROAS, leading Incubeta to plan a wider rollout of Lunio across Laithwaites’ paid search campaigns.
