BNP Paribas Cardif, the insurance division of the BNP Paribas financial group, sought to modernize its EMEA financial reporting for regional management. The challenge was to unify data from nine different branches, each using various applications and data sources, in order to develop data-driven decision making and optimize internal processes. They engaged Lundegaard for a project involving data engineering and BI consulting.

Lundegaard implemented a solution that included complex data engineering to connect, cleanse, and unify the disparate data into a single structure. They then designed a data model and created clear, visual reports in Power BI tailored to different management levels. The vendor also provided BI consulting and staff training on using Power BI. This provided the regional management with improved visibility of key indicators and supported informed, data-driven decision making across the organization.
