First Baptist Academy School Prevents Covid-19 Spread With Quickscreen by Luminare

First Baptist Academy faced the challenge of safely continuing some in-person learning during the COVID-19 pandemic while avoiding on-site health checks that could increase exposure. To address this, the school worked with Luminare and adopted Quickscreen by Luminare as their student and employee COVID-19 screening tool.

Luminare implemented Quickscreen to enable at-home self-screening (and QR-code screening for visitors), customizing languages and questions for the school and ensuring HIPAA/ADA compliance plus alignment with CDC and OSHA guidance. The tool let parents and staff complete a 5–10 second screen, caught symptomatic students before they arrived on campus, increased parental accountability, reduced the risk and spread of COVID-19, and provided documentation that the school had mitigated community risk.
