Lumina Learning worked with adidas, the global sportswear manufacturer, after the Finance Director became involved in conflict with the CEO and Marketing Director, and the Finance and HR teams scored poorly on the global employee satisfaction survey, including dissatisfaction with their Financial Director. The challenge centered on leadership conflict, low engagement, and the need to improve team relationships and performance across key functions.

Lumina Learning delivered a coaching and team development program using Lumina Spark, Lumina Leader, and Lumina Leader 360, including 12 business coaching sessions for the Finance Director, team development workshops for Finance and HR, individual coaching before and after workshops, and additional strategy and consolidation sessions. The Finance Director improved emotional intelligence and built more positive relationships with the executive team, while Finance team engagement rose to 91% in South Africa for employees and 100% for Senior Leadership, compared with global figures of 88% and 74% respectively.
