ACEIL - Customer Case Study

ACEIL, the Arab Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Leadership, is a UK not-for-profit founded by Dr Abeer Pharon to help refugees build the skills and confidence needed for their new lives. Its challenge was to deliver meaningful personal development training in difficult refugee-camp conditions, and it turned to Lumina Learning’s Lumina Spark tool to make that possible.

Lumina Learning delivered Lumina Spark training to 30 refugees in person and 16 young people online over four months, supported by the Journey to Composure exercise, personality feedback, and development planning. The program helped participants understand themselves and others better, improve resilience, teamwork, and daily life skills, and make practical changes in their communities; one participant even moved from extreme shyness to quiet confidence and a trade, while overall success was seen in continued engagement with ACEIL and real-life application of the learning.
