MPI Orange County wanted to add a fun, useful game to its “Gaming for Events” networking and education event. The goal was to support networking, education, and sponsor interaction while showing how games and competition could fit into events, and the team turned to Lumi for help.

Lumi provided Lumi Say, an app that attendees could use before, after, or on-site at the event, with or without an internet connection. Lumi and Midori Connolly created several activities that included photo booth participation, polling, snack-table PIN entry, and Wii game scanning, and the event used random rewards to encourage participation. Attendees found the experience easy to use and engaging, and MPI Orange County said the app’s versatility and quick setup helped it deliver a fun event that met its goals.
