Lumi’s Connector helps make energy company’s conferences an interactive affair

An energy sector company wanted to modernize its conferences and gather feedback from several hundred clients, investors, partners, and suppliers without asking sensitive questions in public. Earlier events relied on a projector and a single presenter, but the company needed a more interactive format that could still keep some responses private.

Lumi’s Connector was used to let attendees answer questions through handheld keypads, with results shown on screen as graphs and percentages when appropriate and hidden as “data captured” for private topics. The system handled 15 prepared questions plus 6 added at the last minute, and the event manager said the feedback was very positive, with the client able to see results immediately and keep attendees anonymous on sensitive issues.
