Midland Conference Services supported an energy company that wanted its conferences to be more modern and more interactive, while still handling sensitive questions discreetly. The company needed a way to collect audience feedback from several hundred attendees, including suppliers and senior management, without requiring people to raise their hands or speak out loud.

Midland Conference Services recommended Lumi’s Connector, a handheld keypad device that let attendees answer questions quickly and anonymously. The system allowed the presenter to show some responses as graphs and percentages while keeping private questions as “data captured,” and it handled a last-minute addition of six questions to an original set of 15. The event ran smoothly, feedback was very positive, and the client said they would continue using Lumi’s technology at future events.
