SimCorp, a Copenhagen‑based provider of the SimCorp Dimension investment management system with about 1,100 employees and global clients, needed to develop its people faster than the business was growing. The company had no formal competency framework or consistent review process, so role requirements and individual capabilities were assessed subjectively, limiting clear career paths and internal mobility.
SimCorp implemented Lumesse Talent Management globally for competency management, career planning and learning management, rolling the system out country by country. The team defined more than 30 roles and career paths, matched roughly 90% of employees to those roles, and enabled self‑assessment, targeted training and reporting—resulting in clearer development paths, higher internal mobility and an easier way to find the right people for new offices and projects.
