Scalable cloud services provide 24/7 access to mission-critical information

Buffalo Computer Graphics (BCG), a veteran-owned engineering and consulting firm based in Blasdell, New York, needed a secure, bulletproof incident management system that could scale rapidly during disasters while keeping critical data accessible and costs flexible. To support its DisasterLAN (DLAN) emergency management software, BCG turned to Lumen Cloud hosting and Lumen Managed Disaster Recovery Services (MDRS).

With Lumen Cloud and MDRS, BCG gained self-service scaling, stronger resilience, and reliable data protection for its DLAN platform. During the 2017 hurricane response, BCG exceeded expectations for local, state, and federal partners, scaled to thousands of concurrent users, and processed more than 380,000 home and building inspection records—19x the initial requirement.
