Lumen and ThreatX team up to give SELCO Community Credit Union’s IT Team the watchdog it was looking for

SELCO Community Credit Union, one of Oregon’s largest and most longstanding credit unions, needed a better way to defend member data as cyberattacks increased during the pandemic. Its small IT team was spending nights and weekends manually investigating suspicious behavior with spreadsheets and rule creation, and it wanted to maintain best-in-class services without downtime or added risk. To address this, SELCO turned to Lumen and ThreatX for web application and API protection.

Lumen introduced SELCO to ThreatX’s Web Application and API Protection platform, deployed through the Lumen edge, giving the credit union a fast, agentless deployment with no advanced configuration work. SELCO was up and running in about an hour and quickly began blocking suspicious activity without disrupting legitimate traffic.
