Case Study: Parimatch achieves lower latency and stronger security with Lumen Cloud Connect

How direct connections to AWS boost security and User Experience

Parimatch, an international gaming platform, needed a more secure and lower-latency way to connect its on-premises datacentre with Amazon Web Services (AWS). As its live betting services are highly time-sensitive and handle customer and payment data, the company wanted to reduce security risk and avoid delays that could hurt user experience and loyalty. Lumen’s Cloud Connect and AWS Direct Connect service were chosen to address these needs.

Lumen implemented 1 Gbps dedicated AWS Direct Connect links from Parimatch’s datacentres in Amsterdam and Düsseldorf to AWS Frankfurt, enabling secure direct connectivity without relying on visible internet-based traffic. The result was improved security, lower RTT, and more reliable performance for delay-sensitive services, helping Parimatch protect its reputation and support its migration of infrastructure to AWS with better cost efficiency and no performance compromise.
