Case Study: Dialog Semiconductor improves network performance with Lumen

How a flexible and responsive approach to business needs dramatically improved network performance

Dialog Semiconductor, a mixed-signal semiconductor design company, needed to improve the stability and consistency of its global network so its engineers could collaborate effectively across about 40 locations. With more than 60 network vendors in use, Dialog was struggling with unpredictable performance, difficult issue resolution, and outages that were affecting productivity and the remote access solution Exceed onDemand.

Lumen worked with Dialog Semiconductor on a proof of concept to deliver connectivity for four sites in Europe and the US, supported by agreed SLAs, project and service management, and enhanced technical support. The resulting solution — a fully diverse IP VPN network with MPLS and internet services plus Adaptive Network Security at some locations — delivered about a 25% performance improvement and much smoother, more consistent network speeds, helping engineers work with greater predictability.
