Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, the largest player in the Flemish cultural sector with 450+ employees across three locations, struggled with email overload, slow and unmeasurable information flow, multiple disconnected platforms and logins, and poor reach to external/temporary staff. They chose LumApps to build a one‑stop intranet integrated with their Google environment that would enable targeted communications, onboard external users, provide a mobile‑friendly experience, and deliver an easy-to-search, user‑editable staff directory.

Using LumApps (deployed on OBV’s domain by Devoteam G Cloud), the solution delivered an integrated intranet with an iframe workaround for external access to Drive content, a prioritized mobile app/navigation for front‑of‑house staff, and a synced, extendable “Who’s Who” directory. Six months after go‑live 66.1% of existing users were onboarded, 99.8% of those users were active, and 33.7% of connections came from mobile, with all communities actively used—showing strong engagement and improved reach through LumApps.
