Essilor introduces digital workplace rallying employees worldwide

Essilor Group, a global leader in optical lenses and equipment with 69,000 employees across 81 countries, faced a fragmented internal communications landscape after rapid growth and multiple acquisitions. Their Google Sites intranet lacked automation, translation and governance, making it hard to deliver personalized, localized content and to rally employees worldwide — so Essilor Group selected LumApps to build a modern digital workplace called “We See.”

LumApps implemented a centralized, personalized and mobile intranet that integrates business tools, supports end-user translation and empowers local site governance and communities; the “We See” platform now hosts 44 sites and 165 communities. By the end of 2020 LumApps helped Essilor Group onboard 25,000 users (21,910 active monthly), achieve a 51% increase in onboarded users year‑over‑year and generate strong engagement (on average 366 new contents, 553 posts and 5,477 reactions per month).
