Their previous Elasticsearch solution could not handle their complex catalog of 300,000 mostly unique items, leading to irrelevant results, failed ISBN lookups, and no automated recommendations. They partnered with Luigi's Box to implement its AI-driven search and recommender services to make their vast inventory findable.

Luigi's Box built a custom API integration and a multi-feed architecture to process SkupSzop's large, frequently updated catalog. The solution included typo-tolerant search, scheduled inventory updates, and 15 different recommendation modules. This led to an 11.4% increase in search usage, a 7.34% drop in not-clicked searches, and a direct increase in average basket value of 10 PLN (€2.36) from recommendations, contributing an estimated 10-15% to overall revenue.
