Relevant Recommendations Can Significantly Increase Conversions

Naureus.sk, a cosmetics and body care e-commerce store in Central and Eastern Europe, wanted to improve on-site engagement and increase turnover through better product recommendations. The team worked with Luigi’s Box, using its Recommender product to test how personalized recommendations could perform across the homepage, cart, product detail, and category pages.

Luigi’s Box implemented AI-powered personalized recommendation boxes and ran A/B tests to compare them with the store’s original setup. The results showed stronger performance in most placements, including up to 2.6% CTR and 50.8% CVR in the cart, 1.8x more assisted conversions on product detail pages, and nearly 5x more conversions on category pages; overall, Naureus.sk saw up to a 5x increase in recommendation conversions and continued using Luigi’s Box recommendations.
