Talroo is a data-driven talent attraction platform that uses AI to connect job seekers and employers and powers job search for publishers. Faced with a looming 3x increase in job postings, continuous real-time indexing requirements, and a small team, Talroo’s legacy Solr infrastructure couldn’t scale to handle peaks of ~4,200 requests/sec, serve 20M queries/day, and meet a P95 latency target of under 400 ms.

Talroo partnered with Lucidworks and deployed Fusion’s microservices search platform, automating indexing and maintenance, enabling pipeline changes without code, and easily plugging in existing ML relevancy models. The new solution launched seven months faster than a DIY build, tripled document capacity with no added latency, routinely beats the P95 <400 ms goal at peak loads, reduced search ops effort, and drove faster time-to-revenue.
