Boomi is a cloud‑integration company that links on‑premise and SaaS applications and needed a single, multi‑tenant platform to capture and monitor transaction logs for visibility, governance and compliance. The technical challenge was extreme scale and speed—indexing billions of log entries with commits as fast as every ~5 seconds and handling up to tens of millions of new index entries per day—while maintaining low query latency, security and high availability.

Working with Lucid Imagination, Boomi built a Solr‑based monitoring and analytics layer and ran a focused Health Check that recommended schema and relevance tweaks, Java GC tuning, memory upgrades, removal of unused components, RSS optimizations, and replication/load‑testing strategies to avoid unnecessary re‑indexing. The result is a single, secure Solr instance powering multi‑tenant log search and real‑time application monitoring that meets Boomi’s aggressive speed and scale goals and delivers reliable, fast analytics to customers.
