A large retailer faced the challenge of managing a mix of legacy and modern cloud technologies on Azure, which consumed a significant percentage of their lean engineering team's resources with mundane maintenance work. Their goal was to control cloud costs and make their legacy systems self-sufficient so the team could focus on high-impact initiatives. They partnered with Lucidity to address these challenges.

Lucidity implemented its Disk AutoScaler product to autonomously rightsize the retailer's block storage. The solution automated over 28,000 provisioning tasks for 350TB of data, eliminating all manual management and maintenance. This resulted in a 2x improvement in disk utilization and $230k in annual savings. Most importantly, Lucidity eliminated storage-related incidents and freed the engineering team from emergency changes, allowing them to reinvest time and savings into key projects.
