A Lucid Meetings Case Study
Miawpukek Mi’kamawey Mawi’omi Council, a First Nation Reserve in Newfoundland, needed a better way to manage meetings as the community grew and paper-based processes began slowing everything down. Working with Lucid Meetings, the Council looked for a way to digitize records, reduce reliance on email and printed folders, and make it easier for staff and council members to stay aligned during frequent meetings.
Lucid Meetings provided an online, paperless meeting management solution that helped the Council run meetings from shared agendas, motions, task lists, and templates on iPads. The result was smoother meetings, faster onboarding for non-technical users, easier access to past decisions, and a move to a fully paperless workflow; after an initial side-by-side trial, the next meeting was completely paperless.
