Bordeaux Métropole Énergies (BME) faced the challenge of managing eight entities, two fiscal year-ends, and numerous Excel workbooks, which made reconciliation and financial processes time-consuming. To streamline consolidation, budgeting, and reporting, the finance team replaced its outdated software with Lucanet.

Lucanet implemented a single platform that automated daily data imports, connected to Microsoft Dynamics AX and later D365, and enabled in-house scripting for complex allocations and reporting. The result was a much faster workflow, with implementation largely completed in one week and daily updates available at the press of a button, reducing manual effort and making reporting more efficient.
