AS Opéra, the publisher behind L’Avant-Scène Opéra, wanted to enrich its bimonthly opera journal with digital tools to create a more dynamic cultural experience. Working with LTU, it aimed to move beyond print-only content and offer readers richer educational materials, easier book management, and a more engaging journey for opera enthusiasts.

LTU implemented visual recognition and an image recognition API in the AS Opéra mobile app, available on Android and iOS, to trigger multimedia content such as videos, audio files, articles, and quizzes when pages are scanned. The solution also included an SDK for scanning integration and data reporting to analyze user behavior. Results included more than 6,000 flashes, over 1,200 unique users, and 550+ connected pages, helping AS Opéra boost engagement, loyalty, traffic, and the value of its printed publications.
