Nine Network sees clearly with LTN Global solution from Magna Systems

Nine Network was undertaking a major nationwide studio and facilities upgrade and needed a way to remotely manage its earth stations—most immediately to operate the Adelaide earth station from its new city-center studios and to provide cross-site control across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Darwin and Perth. To meet that need Nine Network selected LTN Global’s LTN Monitoring & Control (LTN M&C) system (delivered and commissioned by Magna Systems) as the centralized management solution.

LTN Global implemented LTN M&C to connect and visualize all satellite and IP equipment, automate routine execution, and enable one‑click auto‑routing, geographic diversity switching and rapid failure recovery. Commissioned to control the Adelaide earth station, the LTN Global solution gave Nine Network real-time cross-site visibility and operational control (with Perth integration planned next), dramatically increasing network resiliency, reliability and the speed of problem resolution.
