Case Study: Boombox achieves reliable global live esports delivery to 17 destinations with LTN Global

A LTN Global Case Study

Preview of the Boombox Case Study

LTN is a win for Boombox in live esports broadcasting

Boombox, a Montreal-based live sports and esports production company, was hired to produce the FIA Gran Turismo World Championships 2018 and faced a complex, multi-language transmission challenge: three multiday events over six weeks with seven languages, 16 audio tracks on a single video feed, and simultaneous distribution to up to 17 destinations (Twitch, YouTube, proprietary RTMPs and linear TV). To meet these demands Boombox engaged LTN Global for reliable worldwide delivery of live content.

LTN Global delivered a fully monitored and managed IP-based transmission solution (point-to-point and point-to-multipoint) with five‑9s reliability, SLAs, low latency and in‑network format conversion to reduce bandwidth. The LTN Global service enabled Boombox to deliver 16-track, seven-language coverage to 17 destinations, react quickly to last‑minute changes, and maintain consistent broadcast-quality audio and video — improvements Boombox credited with smoother workflows, faster troubleshooting, and plans to use LTN Global for future productions.
