Case Study: FOX Sports Latin America achieves up to 90k concurrent Facebook viewers and scalable live ingest with LTN Global Live Video Cloud

How FOX Sports Brasil complemented their linear production infrastructure with live content during Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro

Fox Sports needed to augment its on-site linear production for the 2016 Rio Olympics to ingest and integrate live signals from mobiles, LiveU units, drones and social platforms into its broadcast and social workflows. LTN Global was brought in with its LTN Live Video Cloud to complement Fox Sports’ existing production infrastructure and enable real-time acquisition and curation of diverse live sources.

LTN Global implemented Live Video Cloud and Selector workflows to ingest, curate and output multi-view feeds to Facebook Live and a YouTube multi-angle player, supporting live on-air use and interactive Facebook shows. The deployment delivered a flexible, ad‑hoc scalable ingest layer for Fox Sports, reached up to 90k concurrent viewers with daily 30–40 minute segments, and has since been used for additional sports coverage, press conferences and interviews.
