Fox Sports reaches 90k concurrent viewers with LTN

Fox Sports Brasil, part of Fox Sports Latin America, faced the challenge of integrating a multitude of live video sources into their on-site linear production workflow for their coverage of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. To advance their existing infrastructure, they partnered with vendor LTN Global and utilized the LTN Live Video Cloud service to acquire and manage feeds from sources like mobile phones, LiveU units, drones, and Periscope.

LTN implemented a flexible and scalable cloud-based ingest solution that complemented the on-site production. This allowed Fox Sports Brasil to produce daily live interactive shows on Facebook and a multi-angle broadcast on YouTube for their opening party event. The solution was a success, reaching up to 90,000 concurrent viewers on Facebook and creating a new way to deliver content for their social media platforms and websites.
