Leading Life Sciences Company, a global life sciences multinational, needed to modernize its business warehouse environment, migrate from Oracle to HANA on cloud, and reduce total cost of ownership while improving performance. It partnered with LTIMindtree for SAP BW and cloud migration services, including Near Line Storage migration, BW integration, and technical migration support.

LTIMindtree implemented the BW(ABAP) migration to HANA on AWS, new BW JAVA installation, and end-to-end technical integration and cutover testing. The result was a 40% improvement in BW report performance, database reduction from 18TB to 2.9TB, and cost avoidance of about USD 1 million per year by eliminating support for BWA appliances, while also enabling advanced analytics and faster backups.
