The Multi-Source Ingestion Tool Service Provider, a British publishing, business intelligence, and exhibitions group based in London, faced scalability and performance issues with a 20-year-old Windows content authoring tool. The aging system slowed productivity, required heavy manual intervention, and limited coverage of the public domain, including thousands of sources and large volumes of clinical, investigator, drug, site, and disease data.

LTIMindtree implemented an AWS-native multi-source data ingestion solution with OpenSearch, microservices on AWS EKS, ReactJS, and automated workflow management to ingest, curate, and store structured and unstructured data in a central repository. LTIMindtree’s solution delivered near real-time data availability, reduced search lag by 6x, improved complex search performance by 5-10x and up to 24x in some cases, and enabled scalable coverage across more than 80 data sources and registries.
