CRDMS App Migration on AWS Cloud for Global Machinery and Industrial Product Manufacturer

Global Machinery and Industrial Product Manufacturer, a US-based maker of lifting and material handling solutions, needed a more reliable and secure document management system while migrating about 2 TB of data and reducing infrastructure costs. It turned to LTIMindtree and AWS to modernize its CRDMS application and address challenges around high availability, file access, application security, email exchange, and lower TCO.

LTIMindtree implemented a hybrid AWS-based solution using EC2 clusters, Elastic Load Balancing, managed database services, Amazon S3, AWS APIs, and DMS, with VPN connectivity to the customer’s data center. The result was a cost-effective, highly available, fault-tolerant platform that improved security, supported scalability and process optimization, and significantly reduced overall operational overhead and costs.
