Logical Systems Inc (LSI) worked with a large textile machinery OEM, the last of its kind based in the United States, to address its challenge of incorporating state-of-the-art control and data analysis systems into its machines. The customer needed a way to provide its global end users with better data to improve their processes while also simplifying remote machine troubleshooting and commissioning.

LSI implemented a solution using the Ignition platform and Allen Bradley PLCs, which provided versatile controls, a powerful data historian, and simplified reporting. The results included a streamlined installation and commissioning process for the OEM and, for the end users, improved control, customizable touch screen interfaces, and access to critical production data for making better decisions. LSI's solution also allowed for flexible hardware and software customization without additional licensing fees for multiple machines.
