Weinrich Schokolade is a family-owned chocolate manufacturer and retailer from Herford, Germany, founded in 1895 and selling its products through a factory outlet. After running the store on a custom legacy system for about five years, the software had become outdated, inflexible and not user friendly; when store hardware failed, Weinrich began looking for a fast, resilient, and easily customizable POS and back-office solution.

Weinrich implemented LS One, supported by local partner PlanPro SaaS and integrated with Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The rollout required manual master-data updates and staff training and a brief fix for tax-group rounding, but delivered automated GL postings, immediate goods-movement updates via a custom interface, reduced manual work, faster and smoother transactions, and expanded payment options that improved customer satisfaction.
