Verkfærasalan is an Icelandic, family-run hardware chain founded in 1997 that grew from a single store into three retail locations plus an e-commerce channel. With Pup Cove, Verkfærasalan implemented LS Central (built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) using mostly out-of-the-box functionality and reusable extensions, going live in under three months. The new distributed, offline-capable system delivers an integrated POS and mobile checkout, unified multi‑store inventory visibility, and automated e-invoicing—resulting in faster, more accurate service, fewer manual errors, and a streamlined platform to support future automation and growth.
