A LS Retail Case Study
Puma Bulgaria, part of the Glou Group and a subsidiary of Puma Hellas, operates a growing network of retail outlets across Bulgaria. The company faced the typical fashion-sector challenges of rapid changes in demand and taste, twice-yearly ordering cycles, and the need to forecast accurately from historical sales, stock and margin data. As an international franchise, Puma also required consolidated, timely financial and statistical reporting across differing local accounting, language and currency environments while meeting aggressive sales targets and maintaining operational control.
Working with LS Retail partner LLP, Puma implemented an end-to-end solution based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV that connects POS systems directly to a centralized back office. This delivered consistent product lists, prices and promotions, faster time-to-market for campaigns, offline POS continuity with automatic synchronization, immediate transaction posting, and up-to-date stock visibility for better forecasting and purchasing. The multilingual, multi-currency platform and LLP’s statutory setup ensured local compliance and simplified corporate reporting, improving financial control, operational efficiency and the company’s ability to grow its retail presence.
