A LS Retail Case Study

Pocket Shop - Customer Case Study

Pocket Shop is a Stockholm‑based bookstore chain founded in 1989 that today operates 28 stores across Sweden, Finland, Germany and the UK. As the chain grew, it struggled to get a unified overview of sales and stock, relied on outdated ordering methods, and needed a reliable, user‑friendly system that could handle high transaction volumes, long opening hours, multiple currencies and largely single‑POS stores without increasing administrative burden.

Pocket Shop implemented LS Nav (based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV) via partner Bedege, rolling the solution out to 21 stores and replacing disparate systems (including former SAP locations). Centralized product, price and POS management, Data Director integration and handheld inventory tools replaced manual processes, resulting in faster cash‑reporting and sales reports, simplified ordering and inventory, easier staff scheduling, improved control of stock/value per store and a scalable platform for further digital services and growth.
