A LS Retail Case Study
Plantorama, founded in 1987, is Denmark’s largest gardening and pet retail chain with 11 large centers and about 360 employees, offering plants, soil, fertilizer, tools, pottery and pet supplies. Although its legacy LS Nav system met daily needs, it limited digital workflows, the rollout of new scanners and integrations, so Plantorama decided to upgrade to a newer LS Nav version.
Working with LS Retail partner EG, Plantorama postponed go‑live to ensure a complete implementation and launched the new system in September 2016. Adoption was smooth and within six months the company reached a high level of confidence and usability (a level that had taken eight years on the old system). Early investments—like handheld scanners that print shelf labels and check warehouse stock by barcode—enabled new projects, improved in‑store mobility and freed staff to spend more time with customers.
