A LS Retail Case Study
Olis, Iceland’s oldest oil company (founded 1927), operates Olis and OB fuel stations nationwide alongside convenience stores, car washes and quick-service restaurants. The company’s legacy POS—obsolete, unsupported and incompatible with new hardware—was hindering growth, so Olis sought a modern solution that would integrate with its existing Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform, support third‑party tools and scale for future needs.
Olis chose LS Retail’s LS Forecourt and began rollout in 2015, piloting in May and expanding to additional stations with full nationwide implementation planned for July 2016. The new system centralized station setups, provided real-time transaction visibility, simplified a complex loyalty and discount model with member management, and delivered reliable support—resulting in faster decision-making, easier station management and a roadmap to add mobile payments and omnichannel features.
