Miklatorg hf, which operates the IKEA store in Reykjavik, Iceland, had been using LS Central retail software for decades. Facing an upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, they needed a new, future-proof Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) solution to replace their old software and ensure secure electronic payments. They turned to LS Retail and its LS Pay solution for a standardized answer.

LS Retail, through its partner K3 BTG, implemented its LS Pay EFT solution, an out-of-the-box product designed to work seamlessly with Miklatorg's existing LS Central system. This minimized complexity and saved on development. After resolving initial setup challenges with new Verifone payment terminals, the implementation was completed in about a month. The result is a secure, EMV and PCI compliant payment system that is easy to maintain, with automatic updates managed through LS Central, providing a reliable and integrated commerce platform.
