MegaMart (Cost Club) is Jamaica’s largest retail chain, operating four hypermarkets, 12 smaller outlets plus casinos, fuel stations with convenience stores and regulated pharmacies. Rapid expansion exposed limits of their legacy system: poor management visibility (fuel sales tracked in Excel), costly new-client setup, weak promotion and coupon control, cumbersome loyalty redemptions and ineffective cross-selling.
Working with partner Enterprise Business Technologies, MegaMart rolled out LS Nav—starting with a pilot store and quickly expanding to hypermarkets, forecourts and casinos—bringing integrated back office, POS, mobile loyalty and forecourt/hospitality solutions. The new system enabled targeted promotions and cross-outlet campaigns, enforced single-use coupon redemption to cut fraud, delivered real-time forecourt visibility and smoother operations; membership rose 15% and membership sales increased 20%, with further plans for upgrades, mobile payments and BI.
