Farmacia Los Hidalgos, founded in 1978 in Santo Domingo, is a national pharmacy chain with 42 locations across the Dominican Republic, including traditional, complementary, institutional and hospital drugstores. The company faced an aging management system: data replication between stores and head office took hours and only partial sales information reached central servers, leaving COGS, stock and replenishment data incomplete and unreliable.

Los Hidalgos implemented LS Nav with local partner Dextra, rolling out the solution to 36 stores in 15 days and completing the rest internally, while also launching a centralized call center and a Member Management loyalty program linked to American Airlines AAdvantage. The new system cut replication time to minutes, reduced shrinkage, enabled tracked transfer orders, introduced role-based permissions, and improved customer service with a pharmaceutical inquiry feature at the point of sale.
