A LS Retail Case Study
InMotion Entertainment, the largest electronics airport retailer in the U.S., faced operational strain after merging with Altitunes: incompatible legacy systems, separate rental and retail processes, high overhead and limited store space, and volatile inventory that required heavy manual data entry and temporary staff. Airport security and logistics compounded the challenge, making it difficult to replenish stock, build sales history, and control purchase order volume.
Working with LS Nav partner Tectura, InMotion implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV with LS Nav at the POS, integrated EDI for supplier links, a third‑party forecasting tool, and a centralized Terminal Services deployment. The solution delivered real‑time visibility across channels, automated purchase orders, returns and invoicing, reduced manual reconciliation, improved demand forecasting and inventory control, simplified maintenance, and established a scalable platform for future growth.
