Hygeia expands its business to new areas and goes international with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and LS Retail

Hygeia is a Portuguese cosmetics retailer that began as a parapharmacy and planned rapid expansion into perfumery, hair cosmetics and international markets (notably Angola). The company needed a cost-effective, modular and fully integrated IT solution to support both front‑ and back‑office operations, customer loyalty and scalable growth across multiple store concepts and countries.

Hygeia implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV with the LS Retail add‑on (delivered by Arquiconsult) within two months, deploying integrated POS/back‑office, a CRM‑driven loyalty card and centralized stock and distribution management. The system enabled targeted marketing, accurate replenishment and easy configuration of new stores; outcomes include over 25% sales growth in Portugal, about 90% of sales coming from loyalty‑card customers (≈16,000 members), improved stock control and streamlined expansion into Angola.
